A new contender in everyday carry (EDC) gear, the NanoB9 flashlight, is making significant waves on Kickstarter, having already surpassed its funding goal with over $56,000 pledged by more than 500 backers. 


Developed by the creator GADGET ON, known for seven previously created and ten backed projects, this ultra-compact, versatile flashlight promises to revolutionize how people approach portable illumination.


The NanoB9, barely larger than a coin at just 30 × 27 × 13 mm, is designed to be lighter than a house key, yet packs a powerful punch with nine distinct lighting modes. Its versatility is a key selling point, offering four white light levels (Night-light, Low, Medium, High), two red light levels (High 3W, Low 2W) for discreet use and night vision preservation, a 3W UV light (365nm) for quick checks, and dedicated Strobe and SOS modes for emergencies.


Users will appreciate its one-button genius for quick mode switching, and the device even remembers the last used setting.
Beyond its impressive array of lights, the NanoB9 boasts a dual magnetic mount, with magnets strategically placed at the middle and rear. 

This allows for true hands-free lighting, easily attaching to metal surfaces from toolboxes to car hoods. 

Powering this tiny titan is a USB-C rechargeable battery that goes from flat to full in under an hour, providing up to 15 hours of light in night-light mode.

Durability is also a core aspect of the NanoB9's design, available in two robust builds: black anodized aluminum for an ultra-light, modern feel, or stonewashed titanium for a premium, indestructible, and timeless EDC style.


The project, based in London, UK, operates on an "all or nothing" funding model, meaning backers are only charged if the $4,029 goal is met. 


GADGET ON acknowledges the inherent risks in any project but emphasizes their commitment to transparency and communication.
